In reply to a question in- the • House of Commons, the First Lord of tha Admiralty, Sir Samuel Hoare, explaip? Ed that the oil fuel tanks at Singa* pore are above ground. :
Asked whether an air raid would not destroy the tanks and paralysa shipping, he replied that the Government is considering the question of underground storage. ;
