| (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. Four prisoners appeared for sentence before Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court this morning. Tahati Toki, j found guilty of assault on a girl, "was sentenced to one month's goal, his 'Honour remarking that a previous term of probation had been ineffective. .■■.■■"

For attempted carnal knowledge, Sam Waifcare received twelve months' probation, for breaking and entering and theft Pinihi Te Puni three years' probation, and for bigamy Leslie Henry Hanger twelve months' probation.
