AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON
LOCAL TEAM CHOSEN
Wellington's main Rugby football fixture for next Saturday is the annual match with Auckland, it being Auckland's turn to play in Wellington. The event is one which always _ attracts considerable attention, and there should be no exception to the TKle this time in spite of the call upon players for the> inter-island match. The play in Auckland-Wellington matches is invariably keen, fast, and bright, and there is the right talent for Saturday's display at Athletic Park to be up to standard. Auckland's team, which has been on tour in the South Island, had a match this afternoon with Wairarapa. Evidence of the interest aroused in Saturday's match is offering in the demand for seating accommodation in the grandstand at Athletic Park. The plan for the booking of seats is open to the public at the Rugby Union's office. ■ ' ■ . WELLINGTON SELECTION. The selection of the Wellington team has been completed by Mr. M. F: Nicholls as follows:— Full-back.—W. Crisp (Eastborune). Three-quarters.—J. \ Wareham (St. Patrick's College Old Boys), A. G. Hansen (Hutt), A. Wright (Wellington College Old Boys). Five-eighths.—J. Fleming (Eastbourne), H. L. Baldwin (Wellington College Old Boys). Half-back.—E. E. Tindill (Athletic). Back-row Forward.—A. H. Andrews j(Hutt). - I Middle-row Forwards. J. R. Lamason (Wellington College Old Boys) captain, K. Guy (Athletic), M. "W. De:vine (Hutt), C. Pringle (Poneke). 1 Front-row Forwards.—F. C. Leahy (Marist Bros. Old Boys), R. B. Burke (University), M.
