(Special to the "Evening Post.") ; . PALMERSTON N., This Day. "It is a-very .sensible idea. I have teen motor-lorries doing over 40 miles per hour and I think they should be' checked," declared Councillor J. Smith at yesterday's meeting of the Kairanga County Council when the Waipa County Council forwarded for support a suggestion that heavy motorlorries used in the transportation of goods should have sealed governors to restrict their speed to the requirements of the motor regulations.

The council agreed with the proposal.
