POWER SUPPLY CASE
HEARING NOT YET FIXED
! (Special to the "Evening :. Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. Despite the fact that it is over a year since the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board dramatically switched off the power into Palmerston North and plunged the city into darkness, as a result of the hoard and City Council being unable to come to termsin the matter of charges for electricity, there is still no definite date fixed for the hearing of the dispute by the Supreme Court. • When information on the subject was sought at yesterday's meeting of the Power Board it was reported that the papers .had been prepared for the special questions desired to be argued but, due to the Judges being on circuit, it'might be some weeks before the case would be considered.
