HUTT CLUB
The following were the results of weekend competitions at the ~ Hutt dub:—
_ Stableford Bogey (Saturday).—G P 3un- (6) 34;. J. F. Pyra (2), 31; J. F McLean (15), 31, St. Andrew's Cross, Semi-final.—G. P. Roberts (3) beat R. H. Rawlinson W, o and 4, and will now meet M. m 1 (i 4) in the final- over 36 holes. Wilford Cup.—Burgess and McNaught beat Cook and Matthews, 2 and 1: Trayes and Fisher beat Suisted and Stewart, 3 and 2; McCasfcill and Fordham beat K. and D. Hume, 1 up; Roberts and Crombie beat Davis and
erhill beat N. Boyd and Blundell, 2 and 1. •
Next Saturday an exhibition match will be played on the Hutt course between Miss Helen Hicks and Gene Sarazen, the famous American professionals, and two local players. Next Sunday the qualifying rounds, over 36 holes, for the senior, intermediate, and junior championships, will be played. Entries are to be made on Sunday next. Competitors will arrange their own partners, or partners will be arranged if desired.
