The medal round played on Saturday at Westward Ho! in conjunction wiui the first qualifying round of the club championship was won by J. Bowlis, 84, 24—60. , The fourball bogey on Sunday morning resulted in a tie between A. G. Williams and B. Ruridle and H. Pope and I. Mclntosh, i up. Three pairs tied in the ' fourball Stableford in the afternoon. K. McKenzie and E. Simister, L. Davidson and W. Davidge, and G. Burt and C. Plank all returned 38 points. In the quarter-final of the captain's trophy Grant beat R. Westbrook, 5 and 4. .
In the final of the Red T«p Crystals H. Pope beat I. Mclntosh, 2 and 1. Pope returned a card of 75, 8—67, and Mclntosh 79.15—64.
