TITAHI CLUB
A match between members of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' Club and the members of the Titahi Club who are also members of the Commercial Travellers' Club was played at Titahi «a Sunday.

Lauchlan, all square; K. Whitehead beat B. Wrigley, 1 up; I. Gaul beat J. Sandham. 4 and 3; J. Gishard lost to A. Marsden, 3 and 2; P. Maddock beat E. Brooking, 3 and 2; J. Tunnington beat S. Slattord, 3 and 2; W. Crombie beat W. Reid, 2 up; E. Toop and W. Robertson, all square; W. Hustler Smith beat W. Smith, 3 and 2; F. Anderson beat J. Hutcbins, 3 and 2; W. Cuthbertson beat S. Gyles, 2 and 1; C. Gyles beat C. Farsloe, 2 up; P. S. Dean beat P. Romain, 2 up; P. Burgess beat V. Swanson, 3 and 2; D. Kirkcaldie beat G. Simmiss, 3 and 2; J. McKenzie beat A. Barnett, 4 and 3; J. Titahi 16 games. Commercial Travellers, 9 games. R. C. Butters, the popular Miramar professional, covered the course in 73, two strokes under bogey. The secretaries of the clubs had a hard battle which ended all square. The Panama trophy, donated by Mr. J.. Hooley, was won by J. Tunnington, with 44, 12—32. The stroke competition resulted in a win for G. Rout, 85, Id—69«-
