RIVOLI THEATRE.

"Terror Aboard," which centres around a madman's effort to wipe out the entire passenger list and crew of a Drivate yacht, and "Master of Men," starring Jack Holt, will be shown finally at the Rivoli Theatre tonight. Gary Cooper, in the title role of "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town." coming tomorrow to the Rivoli Theatre, gives one of his best performances as a young unsophisticated man from the country who suddenly finds himself'the heir to a vast fortune. The picture is broadly a humorous satire on modern American city life, and the characters are not exactly complimentary to the citizens of God's Own Country. Mr. Deeds, who arrives in New York from the country village after inheriting his i fortune, is pursued by the newspapers jas "front-page news." To add to this difficulty various persons and organisations are endeavouring by legal wrangling to snatch the legacy from the boy from the country. However, a certain shrewdness is apparent underneath his unsophisticated exterior, and the picture comes to.a bright conclusion. Walter Catlett as Mr. Deeds's Press agent and Jean Arthur as a,star woman reporter -, give fine performances. Also on the bill will be the hilarious comedy, "Private Secretary," featuring Edward Everett Horton.
