PRE-WEDDING PARTY
Lady Roberts' was hostess at a very pleasant morning; tea party held at the club rooms in the T.. and G. Building, when, Miss Sheila; Todd, whose wedduigV;takes»placei!,this week, was the guest of. honour. The reception room wds"'. charmingly * decorated with Australia^. myrtle,' an ■ artistic shrub with .delicately: tinted creamy mauve berries!Cand .small■ green.'leaves, also with large bowls of orange and lemontinted Iceland poppies. ;Tea was served in, the bridge room, the table being arranged with fine daffodils.
'Lady' Roberts received her guests wearing an ensemble of navy, blue, with the coat trimmed with grey fur, also a small beret to match the frock. The party was a most, cheerful one, sunshine lending charm to the occasion, and many, good wishes ' being given to the bride-elect.
