The League for Less Noise of Ne\« York gave a dinner recently in honour of Lord Hprder, physician-in-ord« mary to King Edward. There was nl applause for the speakers. Lord Horder is the head of London'f League for Less Noise, and will alsd be remembered for his championship of noise abatement during his visit to Melbourne at the time of the Centenary celebrations. . .
