DISCOVERY OF BODY
A MISSING AUCKLANDER

AUCKLAND, This Day. A. body believed to be that of Eric M. Edgar, a well-known city accountant, who has been missing from his home in Auckland for over a week, was found in'an inaccessible spot above high-water mark on the west coast this morning. Mr. Allan Nobbs, a resident of the district, engaged in trapping opossums, while, walking along the beach at the foot of the high cliffs at 7 a.m., found the body, and communicated with the police.
It is understood that the body will be brought to Auckland, a distance of about 25 miles. The features are barely recognisable.
