NO AGREEMENT
PROJECTIONISTS' WORK
The dispute between the New Zealand Federated Motion Picture Projectionists' Industrial Association of Workers, and the J. C. Williamson Picture Corporation, Ltd., and other employers, one covering the Dominion with the exception of Canterbury, was resumed today.: before the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr. K. J. Reardon). The parties, while agreeing on several points, failed to reach agreement on wages and hours, and the dispute will be heard by the Court of Arbitration at its next Wellington sittings.
Mi-. W. J. Mountjoy was the advocate for the employers, and Mr. L. E. Read for the projectionists. The employers' assessors were Messrs. M. Sayegh (Auckland), W.. Gray, W. Burton, A. R. Shephard (Wellington), J. Mason (Taranaki), and H. Bremner (Dunedin). and the assessors for the projectionists were Messrs. E. R. Garrett (Wellington), J. Connell, and A. Thompson (Auckland), H. R. Read (New Plymouth), C. White (Dunedin), and W. Resteaux (Greymouth).
