MIRAMAR CLUB
The August bogey was played at Miramar °n Saturday in cold but fine weather. A heavy course allowed teeing up. In conjunction with the bogey, qualifiers in the "30" competitions for a trophy given. by E. H. Liddle to commemorate 30 years of membership, was played off. The winner of both events was C. L. Dentice. ' . C. L. Dentice (6) 4 up D. Robertson (16) 1 tip J. H. Drake (1) .............. 1 down H. A. Black (2) 1 down J. I. Lewis (8), J. P. Colwill (8), E. Picot (11), A. Donoghue (6), D. Cody (9), G. S. McNair (11), and D. R. Richmorfd (6), were 2 down.
Dentice's card was as follows, the bogey figures being shown in parentteses:—s (5), 4 (4), 5 (5), 3 (3), 4 (4), 3 (3), 5 (5), 4 (4), 4 (5), 37 out, as against bogey 38, 4 (4), 6 (4), 3 (3) 4 (4), 4 (3), 4 (4), 4 (4), 5 (5), 5 (5), 39 to bogey 36, a total of 76 to bogey 74. His handicap is reduced to 7-5.
