Lady Bucklcton arid Miss Jean Buckleton, who recently went for a holiday cruise of v the islands and afterwards visited Morrinsville, have returned to Wellington' to their home, "Craigside," Oriental Parade.

Mrs. C. B. Trimnell, Bolton Street, and Miss Nancy Trimnell left Wellington on Saturday night for the south.

Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Flannery left Martinborough last week for their new home at Lower Hutt. :

Miss A. James, o£ the Presbyterian Mission Hospital at Kaai Hau, Canton, sailed by the Mariposa from Auckland on Friday on: her way back: to China after spending nearly a year's furlough in New Zealand. Miss James has represented St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dunedin, on the Canton mission field for the past 23 years. She has been accompanied on this furlough by her adopted Chinese daughter; Po Chan, nine years of age.

Mrs. David Allan, Bolton Street, and Miss Mary Allan left Wellington, on Saturday evening for Christchurch.

Mrs. W. Bright, Hawera, is visiting Wellington.

Miss S. KenneA', Masterton, is spending a feur days in Wellington before leaving for England.

Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Mclntosh and Mrs. J. Pow left Wellington on Saturday night for Gore.

Mrs. W. Burton and Miss D. Coatman, Wellington, are visiting Oamaru.

Mrs. Sexton, Eltham, arrived in Wellington last week to spend several months.

Miss Dorothy Hervey, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday arid is staying with Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Little.

Mrs.,T. C. List has returned to New Plymouth.from a visit to Wellington.

Mr. and Mrs. A..H. Marshall (Gisborne), Mr. and' Mrs. Randolph Guggenheimer (New York), and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Wilson (Wellington) are guests at the Midland Hotel.

Miss J. Hunt, Mrs. C. McArthur, and Mrs. A. Bodle (Auckland), Mrs. S. A. Madden (Masterfon), and Mrs. R. P. Palmer (Waverley) are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel.

Miss T. G. McLellan, Auckland, is staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. J. N. Anderson (Waverley), Mrs. E. C. Donald (Tauranga), and Mrs. A..E. Dodd (Helensville) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
