MELBOURNE, August 6. Corriedales again surpassed merinos at the concluding stud sheep sales today for the highest price and the highest average. A two-year-old special Corriedale stud ram brought 170 guineas and the highest price for a merino was ,i4O guineas. New Zealand Southdown rams imported from the Rosebank Stud of Mr. James Stewart, Rakaia, were unsold, little interest being shown in Southdowns. A champion Ryeland ewe brought 80 guineas.
