MUMMY OF A PRINCESS
The discovery has been reported of the mummy of a princess in a limestone tomb near the pyramids of Giza, Egypt. The mummy, lying in bridal garb and decked .with a crown and other gold jewellery, was believed to be the daughter of Cheops, who built the second pyramid about 3700 B.C. An Englishman, W. B. Emery, found an empty tomb ten'miles south of Cairo. It was believed to be that of an Egyptian nobleman of about 5300 8.C., the time of the earliest civilisation of Egypt.
