JARVIS OUTBOXED

DEFEAT IN SYDNEY ,

SYDNEY, August 5. The New Zealand boxer Jack Jarvis was completely outboxed tonight in a 12-round contest at the Leichhardt Stadium by the successful Victorian, George Lowe, who was noticeably superior, and carried the fight right away from Jarvis, who was substantially ' outpointed.

Jarvis's style was quite unsuited to this contest. Lowe made Jarvis come to him, and then moved all round him, taking advantage of every opening in the manner of a master strategist.
