Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction of August 4:—At yesterday's auction of 1,750,0001b, common kinds were in keen demand and prices remained fully firm. Quotations for medium and fine teas were slightly easier at the close of the sale. At next week's auction, 1,500,0001b has been catalogued for sale.
