Court—but she has lost her case. She sued her..-.fiance;.' Givan Kretovatch, for damages and for maltreating her, explaining to the Court that, as was the custom in the district, ■ she went to her fiance "on trial." But: he beat her and turned her adrift. Givan ex* cused his action on the ground that he could not stand the smell of hei* face cream. The Court upheld his attitude. : ; ' •' ■"■ •'• ■
