RUGBY, August 4. The reply of the British Government to the French Note proposing the adoption of anj agreed arrangement for non-intervention in Spain was communicated to the French Embassy in London this afternoon. \ ,

The anxieties of the French Government are fully shared in London, and it is understood that the British Government in its reply welcomes the French initiative, to which it give's its agreement in principle. '
