JUST OVER 121 D FOR BUTTER
PROCEDURE FOR NEXT YEAR
:/The guaranteed price to be paid for dairy produce under the Primary Products Marketing Act, passed in the first part of .the present session, was revealed by the Minister of Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) when he presented his Financial Statement io the House of Representatives last evening. " . *- Tlie basic f.o.b. guaranteed prices for the current seasonthat is, for butter and cheese made between July 31, 1936, and August 1 of 1937 —-have been fixed as follows: —
(a) Finest grade creamery butter scoring 93 or 93£ points 117s 3d per cwt or 12 9-16 d per lb. (b) First grade whey butter scoring 88 points and over 107s lid per cwt or 11 9-16 d per lb. (c) First grade cheese scoring 92 or 92i points 63s 7d per cwt or 6 13-16 d per'lb.: ' ;
