THE TALLOW TRADE.
Exports of tallow from New Zealand during July last are reported by Dalgety and Col as follows:—Europe, 20061 tons; India, 11 tons; United States, 1982J tons; Japan, 361 tons; elsewhere, 431} tons. Total, 4404 i tons, compared with a total of 1429 tons for July, 1935.
Sales of tallow in New Zealand during July last amounted to 434 tons.
