COMMUNITY SING
A sum of £24 15s was raised as a result of the weekly community sing .which was held in the Town Hall today. The song leaders were Messrs. Harold Hindle and Charles Proctor, and they had the assistance of Mr. Vincent Ryan, the 'guest artist from Australia. Mr. Frank Crowther was at the piano and Mr. Charles Collins at the organ. Proceeds are in aid of the Mayor's fund for the relief of distress.
