VERDICT AT INQUEST
MRS. MARTHA ALLITT
. fßy TelepraDh.— Press Association.) . GREYMOUTH, This Day. An inquest concluded today concerning the death'of-Mrs. Martha Allift, aged 51; of Lower Hult.
The Coroner, Mr. H. Morgan, returned a verdict that Martha Allitt died on June 27 from injuries received when a service car owned by Gibbs Motors, Ltd., in which the deceased was a passenger, whilst 'being driven by Keith Ronald Goodman on the Coast Road between Westport and Greymouthj left the road during a heavy driving downpour of rain, which interfered with the driver's visibility at a point on a narrow stretch of road about 15 miles from Greymouth and overturned down the bank. The cause of death was a fractured skull and laceration of the brain.
