FOREST GLOW FOR SOUTH

The Awapuni trainer L. Knapp was to have left today on his way south to Riccarton with Fores); Glow and Tail Light. It was intended to include Tangled, but he developed a slight cold. Although Forest Glow's' form since the Great Northern Meeting has been most disappointing, he has been working well at Awapuni and it is possible that he: will ■show-, that his form at Wanganui and Wellington was wrong.

He has got his tongue over the bit on occasions and a recurrence of it will be safeguarded against at Riccarton. He was given a turn over the schooling fences in the "bull-ring" at Awapuni at the weekend, when he fenced cleanly. •
