. LONDON, August 1. Owing to the plentiful supply of early English apples, the markets are flooded with soft fruits. Quantities of cold-stored Australian and New Zealand are also offering, and consequently prices are little changed. Total supplies of Australian and New Zealand apples to July 28 are 5,000,000 boxes and pears 699,000 boxes. Thus, although the market was led to believe the shipments would be lighter, actually they are the highest for three years.
