ACCIDENTS

While crossing Adelaide Road, at approximately 12.30 this afternoon, A. Meyer, a dairy farmer, living at Johnsonville, was struck- by a tramcar and suffered a severe cut on the forehead. He was removed to the Hospital by the Free Ambulance.

While working on the Government Life Insurance Building on Saturday afternoon, F. Richards, a rigger, living in Marion Street, had a hand crushed under a steel beam. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Arnold Culley, aged 12, of 17 Essex Street, was knocked down by a motorcar at th/; corner of Aro and Devon Streets, at 2 p.m. yesterday and suffered severe internal injuries which necessitated his immediate removal-to Wellington Hospital by the Free Ambulance. An operation was performed soon after his arrival, but at noon today his condition, was reported 1 to be still serious.
