RUGBY, July 30.

The President of .the Board of Trade, Mr. Walter Runciman, informed the House of Commons at question time that an agreement was made yesterday between the Export Credits Department and Soviet trade representatives under which the Department will give guarantees in connection with orders which Soviet Government organisations will place within the next twelve months for £10,000,000 worth of goods. This would give rise to a substantial amount of employment in Britain.

The orders will not include munitions of war.
