SEATOUN R.S.A.

The monthly korero of the Seatoun Auxiliary of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association was held on Wednesday night, and attracted a large attendance of Diggers, who spent a most enjoyable evening. Mr. C. A. Perry, chairman of the auxiliary, presided, and, in making an appeal for increased support, gave a comprehensive resume of the committee's work, during the last three years, in the interests of returned men who had required assistance.

A feature of an excellent programme was a talk on the work of the famous Dover Patrol during the Great War, by the Rev. Mr. Greenwood, who was on service with the patrol. Other enjoyable items were rendered by Messrs. Bohlson, O'Connell, and Taylor (songs), Booth (humour), and Rostron (pianist). The work which the auxiliary is doing for returned soldiers deserves the support of every Digger in the district, and the committee hopes to see ah even larger attendance at the next korero towards the end of August.
