SIRE OF FOREST GLOW

The sire of Forest Glow, one-of the acceptors for the Grand National Steeplechase, has been given in race cards simply as an Archiestown colt but Mr. F. C. Dibble, of Ohaeawai, Bay of Islands, writes that the horse was named Town Boy some time ago. Mr. Dibble continues: "I purchased the Archiestown colt who is sire of Forest Glow and Town Beauty four years ago for the purpose of improving show horses in this district, but, as there were some registered mares about, I had him' registered Town Boy. Having been cut about with wire, he has never been broken."
