BAD WEATHER FATALITY

INVERCARGILL, July 31.
At 10 o'clock this morning Mrs. Mar-: garet Potts, aged 39, of Makarewa, was crossing Dee Street from the west side to the east when she walked, into the side of a motor-lorry being driven in a northerly direction. It was snowing at■'- the time and she had her head down." ■ She fell back on her head on the bitumen and fractured her skull. She was admitted to the Southland Hospital and died early this evening., .. ' . . ' . »
