GOOD WISHES FROM KING

HAPPY WAIHI COUPLE

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIHI, This Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis McCormick, of Waihi, who celebrated their diamond jubilee yesterday, received a message from the King through the GovernorGeneral, Viscount Galway.

, "The King sends you hearty congratulations and good wishes on your diamond wedding day," it read.

The celebrants, who have twelve children, fifteen grandchildren, •and sixteen great-grandchildren, also re-, ceived congratulations from the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon.1 M. J. Savage) and the Minister of Internal Affairs (The Hon. W. E. Parry).
