Cases in the Lower Hutt Court yesterday were dealt with by Mr. H. P. La wry, S.M. • ■ :

For allowing a vehicle to exceed the 20 m.p.h. for which it was licensed, Arthur John Webster was fined £2.

For operating a heavy motor vehicle without ■ renewing' the licence George Patrick Costigah was fined 30s.

James Hesp was fined £1 for failing to produce his driver's licence when required. ■.'

For not having a driver's licence, fines of 10s each were imposed, oh" Montague C. Boyes, John E. Doidge, John H. Heron, Robert Jennings, Frank W. Pryke, Sidney T. Tisdall, and Young Wee. Thomas D. McLoughlih was fined £1 for a similar offence, and Henry Montgomery and Raymond Williamson 5s each.
