DUNEDIN, July 30. The Goldfields Dredge reports a return of 7oz 4d\vt for a week's dredging. i Waitahu Gold Mining Company Ltd. reports that lOoz sdvvt have been won from the elevator operating in Little Redmans Creek for 24 shifts of eight hours each. From the new paddock, No. 8, 250z were won by the elevator for 30 shifts of eight hours each and 3oz sdwt from ground, sluicing operations —a total of 38Joz. WHITE'S ELECTRIC DREDGE. White's Electric Gold. Dredging Co., Barrytown, Ltd., reports under July 28 that the dredgemaster, Mr. D. Sutherland, states r that' "all the material for the completion of the dredge landed in Greymouth; both pumps, four tables, and all deck leads arrived at the claim today, and the balance of the material will be out on the 29th. At present the ladder is in position, and all the buckets on. All the electrical work excepting the placing of the pump motor in position is practically completed. Now that the material is to hand we should get on much-faster, and unless we strike any difficulty in assembling the tables we should be ready for active work before two months."
