EXCURSIONISTS RETURN

About seventy excursionists from all parts of New Zealand, • who journeyed to Rarotonga on the Maunganui, 'returned today by the Makura which paid its usual call at the island on its way from San Francisco to Wellington. ' The party spent three interesting days on the island before the arrival of the Makura, and one and all made the most of the time • available. All the principal scenic attractions on the island were visited, and many members of the party displayed keen iniorest in the work on the various plantations.
