Brothers and sisters of famous horses are often rank failures on, the: racecourse, but, while knowing this full weil, Mr. Rodney Dangar, , the owner of Peter Pan, would very much like a full-brother to the champion. But Mr. Dangar's hope is not likely to be realised for some considerable time —if ever. Peter Pan's damj, Alwina, has a filly foal at foot this} season by Pantheon, and Frank McGrath is training a two-year-old colti by Brazen from Alwina for Mr.1 Damgar. Alwina only visits the horse every two years, as Mr. Dangar has a theory that best results are obtained by sjaelling mares in alternate years. Mr. Percy Miller, who owns1 Pantheon, would, of course, very much like Alwina to throw a colt to Pantheon, but he recently stated that Constant Sun would probably be Alwina's next mate. Mr. Dangar was mtich. impressed by. the speed and dash, shown by the Constant Sun filly Fidelity at the Melbourne Cup carnival, when she won in such brilliant style oin three occasions,
