MERCER—DEAN.
The wedding was solemnised recently at the City Mission by the Rev. T. Fielden Taylor, of Eileen, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.; Dean, Northland, and Jack Ifwersen, youngest son of Mrs. E. and the late Mr. Thos. Mercer, of Palmerston North.
The bride, who was escorted by her brother, wore a graceful gown of pink angel-skin lace, cut on classical lines, with cowl neck, and a picture hat of chip straw to tone, and carried a bouquet of pale pink roses, carnations, and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Miss Lucy Anderson, who wore a dainty frock of pale green crepe satin with a big picture hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of rose pink carnations, sweet peas, and maidenhair fern.
The best man was Mr. Alf. Dean (brother of the bride).
The reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents. Mrs. Dean received the guests, wearing a charming frock of blue and biscuit English marocain with pedaline straw hat to tone, and carried a posy of red carnations and maidenhair fern.
