(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, January 5. The South Canterbury.Lawn Tennif Association's annual New Year tournament was concluded in fine weather. Championship results, were as follows:—
Men's Singles.—H. A. Barnett, Christchurch, beat I. Corich, Christchurch, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Women's Singles.—Miss N. Bishop, Christchurch, beat Miss M. Wake, 2-6, 6-1. 6-1.
Men's .Doubles.—H. A. Barnett and L. H. Sheppard beat A. E. Sandral and S. G. McDpugali, V 3, 6-2. Women's Doubles.—Misses Wake and Bishop beat Misses B. Sutherland and D. Shirtcliff, 6-0, 6-2. • .... : Mixed Doubles. —Barnett and Mis» Wake beat Sheppard and Miss' Bishop, 6-3, 64. ;
„. Boys' Singles.—B. Boyd beat J. Shepherd, 6-2, 6-2.
