The death has occurred .of Mr. Thomas William Patchett, a member of the "Marlborough Express" staff, who had a remarkable record of service. He was associated with Blenheim newspapers as a prinier for fifty years, and was for forty-five years, a member of the "Marlborough" Express" staff. In that period he missed only one-half of a day through illness. The family are very widely known and respecter*
