ANNUAL PICNIC
HAIRDRESSERS AND TOBAC-
CONISTS
A varied programme of events was carried out at the annual picnic of Wellington hairdressers and tobacconists which was held at Maidstone Park yesterday. Over 150 were present. The committee comprised Messrs. i. Tierney, president of the Wellington Hairdressers' Assistants' Union, B. Mills, C. Lamont, N. Sander, and R. Roxburgh. The starter for the races was Mr. J. Cusack, and the judges were Messrs. W. J. Spittall and W. Corbett. Results of the events are as follows^—
