MAKING GOOD PROGRESS

LONDON, December 31

The Duchess of York has been suffering from influenzal pneumonia,- according to a bulletin signed by Lord Dawson of Perm, and Sir John Weir. She is now progressing favourably. The "Daily Telegraph" understands that the illness has followed its normal course and reached the final stage.

Princess Beatrice, aunt of the King, who has been suffering from a slight cold since Christmas, is progressing satisfactorily.
