LT.-GENERAL LIGGETT
SAN FRANCISCO, December 30,
The death has occurred of Lieut.General Hunter Liggett, aged 78, after a lingering illness. He was in charge of American operations at Chateau Thierry and Bailleau Woods and commanded the American army of occupation in Germany after the war.
