The former New Zealand trainer, J. T. Jamieson, now under a period of suspension, was given a complimentary dinner at the Australia Hotel by his sporting friends and clubmatcs. The function was largely attended. A presentation of a canteen of cutlery and plate was made to Jamieson and Mrs. Jamieson, and the opportunity was taken of tendering good wishes to J. Jamieson, jun., who is being married in Sydney tonight. The Jamiesons velum to New Zealand on Thursday.
