KILBIRNIE STADIUM.

Four Noted Riders.

Four noted riders are to appear at the Kilbirnie Stadium on Saturday nilht They are the famous English speedway Test captain, Eric Langton, the popular and daring Australiani international, Dick Case, Sam Arena (USA), and Wally Kllmister (New Zealand). Speed kings of four nations will be seen in action in the international Test matches. Eric Langton, of England, and Sam Arena, of America, will be paired to race against Dick Case (Australia) and Wally Kllmister (New Zealand). The test between these four champions, all at the top of their class, should be one of the greatest events yet witnessed at, tne local speedway. Langton, the English Test captain, has shown excellent form in New Zealand, especially at Auckland, where he succeeded in capturing three records in one night, besides winning the main handicap and scratch events. Case, the Australian,- has just concluded his most successful .racing season in England, and his ability to race on any size or shaped track has earned for him the title of "wdrlds best all-rounder." Sam Arena, the American representative, made a fine showing at Kilbirnie speedway on his last appearance,, and now that the United States riders have mastered the fuel trouble which marred their initial appearances in the Dominion Arena should prove a distinct thorn in the side of the opposition. However, despite the very strong talent he will be meeting, Wally Kilmister, the Wellington champion, can expected to keep the local colours aloft. His riding at the' speedway this season has been of a high order, and the overseas men will need to be in top form to defeat this clever and daring speedster. A special tram servuee has been arranged, and the speedway gates will be open for admission from 6.30 p.m. Reserved seats may be obtained at either the D.I.C. or C. E. Claridge, Manner's Street. Country clients may reserve by telephone. ■
