OHIRO HOME
The manager and matron ol Ohiro Home desire to thank sincerely all those who took a kindly interest in the welfare of the inmates during the past year. The concert visits averaged about two a month, and were all greatr ly appreciated. The following parties visited the home, some on more than one occasion: Miss Turner and party, Mr. Peter Wilson and party,. Brooklyn Baptist Church. party, DJ;C. party, Toe H, Toe Emmas, Legion of tiersmen, Polyanna Club; Mrs. - Rosenthal and. party, Working Men's Club Orchestra, Mrs. Irwin and party, Mrs. Potts and party, Mrs. Odey and party* Mr. Clement Howe and Male phoir, Wellington Junior Band, Mrs. Stinson and party. The following donors ol books, magazines, clothing., etc., are also thanked for their kindly thought: Mrs. McNicol, students of the Technical College, Mrs. Ralph, Mrs. Tobin, Mr. Pickett, Mrs. Howell, Mr. F. Glasgow, British Empire Films, Miss Hamerton, Mr. McGowan, Miss Thane, Kemball Theatres, Ltd., and Mr. H. E. Tame, also many anonymous donors. Donations in cash and kind during the Christmas period were gratefully received from R. Hannah and Co., Wellington Girls* College, estate M. L. Ferguson, per District Public Trustee, Petone Rangers, also special donation of £5 from the Wellington'Rotarjr Club towards a further wireless set.
