The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Summer Meeting is being continued at Hastings today in beautiful weather. The track is in splendid condition and there is a large attendance. The riders are wearing black arm-bands in respect to the passing of Mr. Alfred Reid, the well-known horse owner and sportsman. Results:—

January Handicap, £70; 6 furlongs. —1-1 Soho, 8.8, 1; 4-5 First Chapter, 8.0, 2; 3-3 Count Willonyx, 8.1, 3. Scr.: Tidal Song, Morning Quest. Neck. Time, lmin 16sec.
