SHIP ON FIRE
EXPLOSIVES IN CARGO
LONDON, December 31.
Fire broke out on the steamer Tarakan, 8183 tons, in the English Channel. A full gale was blowing at the time, but the vessel, whose cargo is reported to include explosives, reached Plymouth in safety.
