HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR
PALESTINE

The King has approved the extension of the term of office of Lieuten-ant-General Sir A. G. Wauchope, High. Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief for Palestine, and High Commissioner for Trans-Jordania, for a period of five years from November, 1936.
Sir Arthur Wauchope has been High Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief of Palestine and Trans-Jordania since 1931. He served with distinction in the Boer War and in the Great War.
