JONATHAN'S REAPPEARANCE

All going well it is probable that Jonathan will make a reappearance at the coming Auckland Meeting, and he is sure to come in for a lot of attention, as he was off the scene all last season, an injury he sustained while working about this time last year being responsible. He is reported to have been standing up to his recent work in encouraging fashion, and it is to be hoped that he will regain his old form, as there are few horses approaching his class racing at present. He has been weighted 151b above the rest of his opposition in the Shorts Handicap.
